Cultural support

  • E-mail

As part of its sponsorship policy, SCOR supports a variety of cultural institutions, particularly in France (Orchestre de Paris) and in Germany (Wallraf-Richartz Museum, the Association of the School of Music and Dramatic Art in Hannover, etc.).The Friends of the Orchestre de Paris
orchestredeparis_280px

Created in 1981, this association brings together music lovers and companies wishing to support the Orchestre de Paris in its artistic and cultural policy. In particular, it furthers the orchestra's influence in France and abroad, as well as organising campaigns designed for the younger generations. SCOR is a loyal supporter of the Orchestre de Paris, Denis Kessler, CEO of SCOR, having chaired this association since 2008.

Sponsorship of the Friends of the Wallraf-Richartz Museum
wallraf-nordfassade_280pxSCOR supports one of the oldest museums in Cologne and one of the main photography galleries in Germany. The Wallraf-Richartz Museum owns, along with the works of the Fondation Corboud, one of the largest collections of impressionist and neo-impressionist art in the world, as well as the largest collection of medieval paintings. This relationship gives SCOR exclusive use of the premises of the Wallraf-Richartz Museum to organise events, combining its receptions with guided tours of the museum in the unique atmosphere of Cologne.

The Academy for Music and Dramatic Art in Hannover
hannoverartacademy
This is one of the most prestigious artistic schools in Germany, and enjoys an international reputation. The Academy welcomes students of various nationalities. Along with other insurers in Hannover, SCOR is involved in the association that supports this academy, in a city where SCOR was established before moving to Cologne.
